These tissue paper pom poms were the main decor in the tents at our wedding reception. I absolutely love how delicate and pretty they looked strung up among the little white lights. Plus, they are a super fun way to bring in color.
You can buy premade pom poms that simply require a bit of fluffing. However, they are a little pricey and it adds up when you need hundreds of them! Luckily, I had some amazing bridesmaids at my side to help me make this fabulous pom pom garland.
Here is a great tutorial from Sew Sweet Stitches which also shows you how to make different sizes. I made medium sized pom poms for the garland in the main tents. In the center of each tent, I grouped together a bundle of all three sizes. I created a cute little garland using only mini pom poms for the bar, too!
These were such a great accent and I enjoyed them even more knowing that my friends and I had made them ourselves. You can make these in all different colors - great for a kids room or party decor.
